Learning Center
is located in Austell, GA at the Milford Church of God. We believe in providing
a Christ-centered learning environment for the children who attend school
here! We educate children from Newborn, to Pre-K to Elementary grades.

Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM
(excluding observed Holidays)
MISSION STATEMENT
Our goal is to educate your child, focusing on God through teaching and
relationships.
STAFF
All staff members are Christians and members of either Milford Church of God
or other local church bodies.
Our
Infant-3 year old teachers have a total of over 60 years of combined
experience working with young children. They are here because they love
God and have a love for children.
Our Pre-K
both hold degrees in the Education field and are
certified through Abeka.
Our
Elementary school staff hold degrees in Education as
well as Abeka and share a combined experience of
over 30 years experience teaching elementary aged students.

CURRICULUM
PRE-K
through 7th Grade
GSLC uses the A Beka
curriculum for its classroom teaching strategies in classes Pre-K 3 through
6th grade. Abeka is recognized nationwide as a leader
in Christian Education and has been in existence for many years. You may
learn more by clicking on the link above. The official ABeka

Infants
-Young 3's
GSLC
uses the A Beka curriculum for children ages 6 weeks-3 years old. A Beka
focuses on key Bible concepts chosen especially to bring God's Word to a
preschooler's world and to help each child begin to build a spiritual
foundation that will last a lifetime. Each Bible concept is packed with a
range of creative learning centers such as art, blocks, dramatic play, large
motor games and science.
BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL CARE
Parents
can feel comfortable leaving their children with us in the morning where we
will provide them a freshly prepared breakfast. In-house before and
after school care is provided for a fee. We serve the children healthy
snacks, offer homework assistance, Spanish class, cooking class, art class, and other fun activities for them.
Piano lessons, Guitar lessons, Martial Arts, and Praise Dance are offered
on-site for an additional fee.
VISION
Our
vision is to continue adding grade level classes until we have completed our
goal of educating children from infancy through 12th grade. This vision will
be fulfilled by parents and students from our local community who strive to
obtain a quality, Christian education.

& 5 Year Old SUMMER
ENRICHMENT PROGRAM 2011
4 & 5 year old Summer Enrichment Program for GSLC parents will be opened
for enrollment Monday March 21st. Enrollment will be opened to the
public on Monday March 28th. Space is limited to the first 60 students
that pay the $100.00 matriculation fee (book, arts, and crafts supply
fee). We will not place anyone on the list that has not paid the
matriculation fee in full.
Our
Summer Enrichment Program places a high emphasis on academics, bible, praise
and worship, hands on activities, and just plain fun. The weekly rate is
$145.00. Our hours are between 6:30am and 6:30pm Monday-Friday.
Breakfast, lunch, and snack are included. For

THRU 12 YEAR OLD SUMMER
CAMP 2011
Summer camp begins Monday, May 23, 2011. A one time fee of $225.00
will cover the cost of all field trips (4 per week), transportation, camp
t-shirts, meals
(breakfast, lunch, and 3 snacks). Weekly camp fee is $130.00 per week. Daily rates for summer camp are $55.00 per day. Teachers for
summer camp are Ms.
Sharon Fields, Mrs. Shirley Jones, Mrs. Debbie Patillo. Tutoring will be provided at an
additional cost.
